Jetstar flight originating from Coolangatta, has an usual approach to Sydney runway 34R (known as the 3rd runway), tracking from the North Western Suburbs across the Lower North Shore to the Eastern Suburbs and then joining the usual downwind, base and final. This resulted in a stunning view of the harbour city on a glorious winter's day.

From a documentary about the making of Bat Out Of Hell, Todd Rundgren's amazing one take of the famous motorcycle guitar from the title song.

FA18s performing a blank fire gun run during the Richmond Airshow (circa 1991) in Australia. Sorry for the dropouts but I think audio makes up for it. These are best sounding F18s I have heard.

A lioness at Sydney's Taronga Zoo considers something different for lunch whilst listening to some cliched music , but is thwarted by the glass.
Talent. They just don't make em like they used to.
Just remember that the "motorcycle" in Bat out of Hell is also a guitar
Do you mean like the title says and the whole video is about?
@thomcorp I guess youtube had an aneurism considering I commented this on a short about a different guitarist changing the tune of the guitar on the fly.
Precious ❤❤❤❤
Are the isolated tracks available anywhere?
Aside from the motorcycle and all, how does that blue dry-erase marker float above the soundboard?
Wow well spotted. I've never noticed that. It's so weird that it took me a little bit to work out what was going on. It's actually the shadow of each of the sliders. You can see at the beginning when Meat is raising his right hand it interferes with the shadows. What makes this even weirder is that the other sliders that are not in front of the pen, have weaker different shadows. It looks like that there are 2 or 3 lights coming from camera left creating different shadows of varying strength. Really weird though.

I love Guitar's & motorcycle's xx
This is jim Cornett 😂wwf fans will know
When I saw this video a couple of weeks ago, my mind was absolutely mind blown. Few weeks later,. still mind blown.
That was brilliant to have a motorbike sound on a record in such a cool song.
So bad ass!
Super Cassette :)
Bat outta Hell was my first Album as a Teenager back in the 80s. I To This Day Have That Album In a Frame in my Home. "In The Arm's Of The Loving Angel's Jim Steinman, Mr Michael Aday. Meatloaf" The World Has Lost Two Amazing Beautiful Soul's. Todd Is In My Kindest Thoughts. Bat Outta Hell Will go Down in History as The Best Ever Collaboration of Geniuses. Oh How my thoughts are with the Families left behind. From Australia x 🕯🕯
His name is Robert Paulson.
This is probably the healthiest I’ve seen Meat. He looks like Tom Arnold a bit.
The guitar in bat out of hell is probably some of my favorite music of all time
Don't show or explain how he did it. It sounds like a fuzz pedal and a guitar with a whammy bar.
On both this and another doco where Steinman describes it, they both say he just adjusted some knobs on his amp.
Very impressive. But of course you'd need great musicians to back up awesome vocals.
Wow, never knew that
That's why Todd is god
I always loved this moment on the record. Totally badass guitar performance by Todd.
Bat Out Of Hell is reaching 45 years old soon this year and will always be a masterpiece. We have lost two geniuses. RIP Jim Steinman and Meat Loaf.
I'm in shock over Meat's passing. RIP.
Meatloaf died today... A sad day for music.
Oba prima do Rock 👏👏👏👏🇧🇷🇧🇷
Best dang thing ever ..thanks mr meats n the epps .. good stuff ..😁pip pips
Jim Steinman is a musical genius.
I love Jim Steinman and was sad to hear about his passing. I still play his album Bad for Good regularly. Bat out of Hell was basically 80% Steinman, 10% Meatloaf and 10% Rundgren.
@@DonMacGillivray You're probably right about Rundgren, one of the great producers, even at a young age.
incredible guitar solo - and incredible vocals - and incredible writing...sometimes great things come out of a rare collaboration.
What are the amp and tone settings!!!!
My question is how the fuck did Rundgren do it? Just really heavy whammy bar abuse?
Was deeply saddened when I heard the news a few weeks ago of Jim's passing. One of the legendary song writers of our time.
Rip Jim
There is literally nothing on this earth that rocks harder than an electric guitar doing a motorcycle RIP Jim Steinman, your genius will never be forgotten
RIP Jim. You made an album that was not only unprecedented, but will never be repeated.
I grew up with this album and song in my house for so many years, add Queen, Tubular Bells, Bonnie Tyler, Pipe Organ Music, its no wonder i have a great ear........
Superb
Where’s the motorcycle?

Dump the floyd rose n let the strings flap about & play around with it alittle
@@icarus1416 Floyd Rose wasn't available in '77. Eddie started using them in '79-'80.
Any vintage tremolo abuse would do it. A perfect setup guitar would then stay in tune for the solo or there about "sufficiently" in tune.
the guitar solos of all guitar solos brilliant
Remember that Todd recorded the motorcycle guitar in ONE TAKE!
Lightning in a Bottle.
This album really takes me back to my youth. Thanks 👍🇨🇦
Jim Steinman passed away yesterday, these magical moments will never be repeated, R.I.P...
Absolutely Paul. RIP to the legend!
And now Meatloaf has joined him.
And now Meatloaf...
One of the greatest moments in rock history its thats simple
They are in my top 25 so yes they are a great band....Jim steinman ur an a amazing person and talented to the extreme....but meat loaf is the man...
From the “Classic Albums” lineup of documentaries.
That solo still gives me chills its so good
genius in every way
Todd - “Little Red Lights” off of “Something/Anything”
It baffles me why Todd isn’t in the RRHOF
@@Hulkhoagie1 Er, why isn't Roxy Music deserving? Are you mad? But yeah, it is criminal that Todd isn't in yet. Makes zero sense.
Todd is definitely the most underrated artist of our time! No doubt about it!
Really> I think not.
